A Ring of Bright Water

Today's blog item is a little different - it's tribute to a favourite author, told through an extraordinarily revealing article in the Telegraph, which can be read here:

Introduced to Ring of Bright Water through the film of the same name, I came to read the book many years later, then read Maxwell's autobiographical The House of Elrig. The above article reveals that, in both cases, what I was reading was just the tip of the iceberg.
