The Great Clarendon House Writing Challenge 2021 Needs Your Vote!

DEADLINE APPROACHING! Your vote is needed in The Great Clarendon House Writing Challenge 2021. TEN CONTESTANTS were selected months ago from all those who sent in submissions. Their 500 word stories appeared in an earlier issue of the Inner Circle Writers' Magazine. Based on YOUR choices, FIVE went on to undertake a series of specialised tasks, month by month, in each issue of the magazine. By the end of the competition, ONE CONTESTANT will be crowned the WINNER of the Great Clarendon House Writing Challenge. The winner will be entitled to:

•the offer of a book publishing contract with Clarendon House Publications •a free webpage on the Clarendon House website through •which to feature their works (whether published by Clarendon House or not) •a free full-page ad in the Inner Circle Writers’ Magazine for a whole year •free marketing advice, including cover design, blurb, author •platform tips and so on •a free Lifestyle Consultancy to address any issues that might be getting in the way of their success as a writer.

The Final Challenge for the 2021 competition was:

Write a 1,500 piece of epistolary fiction.

Epistolary fiction is a popular genre where the narrative is told via a series of documents. You will have almost certainly encountered one of these books. Letters are most commonly used as a basis for epistolary novels but diary entries are also popular. The word epistolary comes from Latin where epistola means a letter.

The story related using letters and/or diary entries can be ANY GENRE — it is the STYLE we’re looking for.

The THREE FINAL ENTRIES appear anonymously in the latest issue of the Inner Circle Writers' Magazine, which you can purchase for only £2.00 here: https://www.clarendonhousebooks.com/magazine (Better yet, subscribe for only £20.00 for twelve issues and then you won't miss the winner!)

So…who is it to be? YOUR VOTE decides!

The questions you must ask are: • Who used the style of epistolary fiction to the best effect? • Whose story had the most emotional impact? • Whom do you feel best deserves to be the winner of the Great Clarendon House Writing Challenge 2021?

Read the stories here https://www.clarendonhousebooks.com/magazine and then vote by sending in your choice to me at grant@clarendonhousebooks.com DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 5th
